Our chain guides are made from a fortified ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene material to provide an optimal combination of strength, toughness, low friction, low mass, and long life.
The peculiar geometry and style of our chain guides are optimized and refined for minimum weight and maximum performance for the most demanding riders.
The higher operating temperature of this fortified material formulation compared to standard UHMW-PE and other polymers commonly used for chain guides gives these chain guides enhanced strength and wear resistance in sustained operating conditions where frictional heating causes temperature elevation at the sliding interface. In this operating environment our material is stronger and more wear resistant than typical UHMW-PE formulations, allowing the parts to be made thinner and lighter without compromising service life.
The two-piece design makes installation easy. Just pull your old guide off and bolt this one on. The thermoplastic components are CNC machined to ensure accurate fit.
Our chain guides come standard with corrosion resistant steel fasteners for a lifetime of rust-free reliability.
We also offer lighter weight and higher strength titanium bolt kits that minimize mass for improved suspension performance potential. Titanium screws and nuts are made from ASTM Grade 5 alloy (Ti-6Al-4V) for exceptional strength to weight ratio and corrosion resistance.
